There is no denying that we are big fans of film for social change. So we were especially excited when Celia, a fifth grader from Indianapolis, created this animated video about girls' education.
Celia’s video explain why 62 million girls around the world do not get to go to school and how not being in school affects them. She also wrote a blog post and even hosted a bake sale to raise awareness and funds for out-of-school children.
“Now, you might be saying why should I care?,” she says. The answer, she adds, is a simple one.
“Educating girls can make the world better.”
Keep up the great work, Celia! We need bright minds and strong voices like yours to inspire other students to make a difference.
